
I’ve been in real estate for over 20 years and have sold over $200M in property throughout my career. I got my start in the early 2000s working as both a real estate agent and mortgage lender at my family’s company, JL Moneyline. That background gave me a strong understanding of both the sales side and the financing side of a deal, which still benefits my clients today.
In 2011, I joined San Diego Real Estate and Investments, where I led the Buyer Agent team. During that time, our team was ranked the #1 Real Estate Team in the City of San Diego by the Wall Street Journal, based on total sales volume and number of homes sold.
Real estate also runs in my family. My great-great-grandfather, Thresher A. Rippey Sr., was involved in the early development of Los Angeles and Palm Springs after serving as a clerk to Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis and later becoming a developer and financier in California.
My family and I have enjoyed owning property in San Diego, Fallbrook and Temecula for decades.
Today, I work across residential homes, land, ranches, and income-producing agricultural properties throughout Fallbrook, De Luz, Temecula, and surrounding areas.
I’ve had the opportunity to represent everything from single-family homes and condos to large acreage properties like the 360-acre Chandler Family Ranch and the 350-acre Peaceful Oaks Ranch. Whether it’s a primary residence or a large-scale ranch, my approach is the same—understand the asset, understand the market, and position it correctly to get the best result.
A big part of my business involves navigating more complex transactions—things like land use, water, access, and infrastructure—but I bring that same level of detail and strategy to every residential sale as well.
I keep things straightforward and focus on getting results. No two properties are the same, and I work closely with my clients to understand their goals and guide them through the process from start to finish.
My background in both lending and real estate allows me to look at deals from multiple angles—whether it’s pricing a home correctly, structuring terms, or making sure everything lines up financially.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar, off-roading, and traveling with my wife, Dita and spending time with our son and daughter. I also spent several years living in Japan, which gave me a strong appreciation for culture, discipline, and communication—something I bring into how I work with clients every day.
